Pace of trades slows down

Cepea, September 2, 2025 – Soybean trades moved at a slow pace in late August, especially because of the low demand.   The proximity of the 2025/26 harvesting in the Northern Hemisphere and expectations of a progress in the trade agreement between the United States and China tends to reduce Brazilian exports, which pushes away purchasers. It is worth noting that this redirecting movement of foreign consumers from Brazil to the US is normal in this offseason period
